IMPORTANT  NOTICE 
The Highlands Ranch Law Enforcement Public Safety Training Institute Academy will not be running any classes in calendar year 2010.

An unfortunate result of the economic situation is that most law enforcement agencies in Colorado are either not hiring at all, or hiring one or two persons to replace people who leave.  In either event, there aren't enough agency sponsored people to run an academy.  We expect this situation to continue through calendar year 2010.  
The HRPSTI Academy website will be updated periodically as the future becomes more clear regarding the feasibility of running an academy.  Please check the website periodically.  More detailed information can be obtained by calling Tom Cornelius at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, 303-663-7246.
